ANGELA BECKEr, L.Ac.
LICENSED ACUPUNCTURIST & Herbalist

Angie is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in Maryland specializing in chronic conditions, women’s health, and fertility.
Angie discovered acupuncture while she was in her late twenties, having dealt with chronic pain and digestive upset for most of her adult life. Medical doctors offered no solutions other than over the counter pain relievers, so Angie decided to take her health into her own hands. She rigorously researched alternative methods of healing her body. Nutrition became the pillar that ultimately allowed Angie to gain control of her digestive issues, but the pain persisted. Angie started receiving acupuncture treatment, and was blown away by the life changing experience. Her pain reduced, her emotions regulated, and for the first time in her life, she felt in control of her health. Angie took a leap of faith, and decided that she needed to master this form of medicine and help others heal. She attended Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) in 2010 and obtained her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) in 2013.
Angie’s passion for fertility medicine developed while she and her husband experienced their own fertility struggles, including a subclinical autoimmune disorder and recurrent pregnancy loss. After several unsuccessful years of trying to conceive (TTC), Angie and her husband welcomed their beautiful daughter into the world in 2016. Angie and her family life in Locust Point, a quaint neighborhood in South Baltimore. They enjoy the outdoors, and love to go hiking and camping whenever possible.
